General Contracting
We undertake all functions associated with roof work refurbishments. Taking on role of Principal Contractor and co-ordinating the sub-trades required on each individual project.
From site set-up, scaffolding through to the slating, stone repairs and lead, copper or zinc coverings. Minor internal works in association with roofing projects to reinstate internal finishes.
We have carried out Main Contract works for many churches and public buildings as well as domestic clients.
ST GILES
We have covered the majority of the roofs on st Giles Cathedral over the past twelve years. Most recently covering the Nave and Chancel Roofs of St Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh.
LARBERT EAST CHURCH
Main Contract works to refurbish main church roof and tower.
Main Roof was stripped and recovered in Burlington slates with the addition of ventilation
New lead flashings were fitted to the main roof and small side roofs as well as building up tower roof for vented decking and covering in code 8 lead
New cast iron rainwater goods and hopper heads were made to match the original pattern
DALGETY BAY
Works to church involved removing the existing roof decking and felt covering.
Upgrading the insulation and fitting new timber deck with ventilation gap.
New traditional long strip copper roof covering was then fitted to most of the church roof.
