Matheson Plumbing Company are roofwork specialists working in Lead, Copper & Zinc, with a highly respected team of craftsmen who have carried out work on some of the best known buildings in the country.

The company run by Fraser and Gordon Matheson, 3rd generation Plumbing and Heating Engineers, renowned for their expertise and top quality service.

We work with architects and specifiers using lead to add variety and value to new buildings. Matheson Plumbing is also heavily involved in recreating original lead designs in ancient and listed buildings. 

Clients include HIstoric Scotland, Church of Scotland, Archdiocese of St Andrews & Edinburgh, St Giles Cathedral Edinburgh, Falkirk Old Parish Church, Glasgow University, RSPB.

We undertake all aspects associated with roof work refurbishments. Taking on role of Principal Contractor and co-ordinating the sub-trades required on each individual project.

From site set-up, scaffolding through to the slating, stone repairs,  lead copper or zinc coverings. Minor internal works in association with roofing projects to reinstate internal finishes.

We have carried out Main Contract works for many churches and public buildings as well as domestic clients.

As HETAS registered installers we design and install domestic and light commmercial flues and chimneys for solid fuel appliances.

Matheson Plumbing design and install plumbing and  heating installations, cast iron gutters supplied and fitted.
